I spent my summers escaping the London rush, working with the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio at one of their camps, teaching horse riding and playing hard. I pursued internships in the states, traveled and visited friends from Miami to Chicago, enjoying much of what the East Coast has to offer tourists.
I met my wonderful husband 2 years ago at a 4th of July party and somewhere between our banter about what really happened on that first Independence Day back in 1776, we fell in love. I returned home to the UK engaged, ready to graduate from my London drama school and wait patiently for my fiance visa to be approved.
And thus began a journey of determined romance, Visa applications, long distance wedding planning, enjoying real fish and chips for the last time in a while and most of all saying goodbye to my home country and welcoming the brilliance of a new one.

ReplyDeleteHi, I am about to move from Sweden to Knoxville with my husband and two young boys whom we adopted from Madagascar little over a year ago. Would anyone know what school most expats take their children to? We very much look forward finding an open-minded school with an international atmosphere. We'd need to know soon what schools these might be as we will shortly have to choose a home.
